Who we're looking for:

A reliable, driven, and enthusiastic Event Marketing Associate, preferably in Saskatoon, to join our growing team.

Reporting to the Marketing Coordinator, the Event Marketing Associate will be responsible for the execution of virtual and in-person tradeshows and other industry-related events.

This role will work closely with the Business Development team to execute the event marketing strategy.

As a member of the Marketing Team, your primary responsibilities are to:

Work closely with the Marketing and Business Development team to organize all of Lucent's in-person and virtual marketing and internal events, including planning, budget management, implementation and in-event support;
Plan and execute all aspects of the events to make the experience a success for all attendees;
Effectively communicate features and benefits of Soileos to create a unique and positive brand experience;
Liaise with eventrelated vendors, suppliers and sponsors, overseeing all onsite activities, including but not exclusive to venue logistics and exhibition services;
Manage show flow, including decks, videos, scripting and rehearsals;
Assist the Content Marketing Coordinator to implement and execute onsite media protocol, and act as the liaison between Lucent Bio and onsite media.
Provide postconference reports to the management such as summary, statistical, financial reporting, etc.
Conduct post event handoff meetings of any new leads generated from events to the business development / sales team.
Organize travel arrangements for the team: book tickets, hotels, and rental cars.
Monitor inventory of promotional products
Monitor and maintain inventory of event supply crates
Participate in the building and maintenance of event calendar
Some travel to onsite conferences and tradeshows is required.

You'll be a great match if you have these skills & experience:

You have a Bachelor's degree or post-secondary diploma in Marketing Communications or a related field;
You have at least three (3) years experience in marketing or business marketing;
You have experience in event coordination with the ability to show the flow of events virtually or inperson;
You must be handson, highly organized, and committed to promoting the business
You have excellent written and oral communication skills.
You show initiative and thrive in a fastpaced, teamoriented environment
You can successfully juggle multiple tasks and have outstanding time management skills
You are eager to solve problems both big and small
