We are seeking a talented Catering Sous Chef to join our exceptional team and help us cater to the thrilling world of winter companies and their clientele.


We specialize in providing catering services to winter companies, curating unforgettable meals in some of the most breathtaking alpine settings and are dedicated to delivering culinary excellence that complements the thrill of winter exploration.


As our Catering Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating unforgettable dining experiences that match the magnificence of the winter landscapes.

Your day to day will include, but isn't limited to:


  • Leading a team of skilled culinary professionals in catering to ensure seamless execution of meals during heliskiing excursions, alpine breakfasts, cabin, and captivating cookouts.
  • Assisting in catering menu development
  • Overseeing the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes to uphold our high standards of culinary excellence.
  • Maintaining an organized and efficient kitchen, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations, and ensuring all equipment is in top working condition.
  • Liaising with winter companies to understand their specific dietary requirements, allergies, and preferences to customize menus accordingly.
  • Supervising, training, and scheduling staff of up to 5 people
  • Oversee the preparation of various dishes and techniques.
  • Preparing and arranging food for catering events
  • Preparing both plated and banquet dishes, large batch production for both, in and out of restaurant events
  • Ensuring food is presented properly and that all components are prepared adequately.
  • Collaborating with our Culinary team to design innovative and diverse menus that showcase the finest local and seasonal ingredients, while catering to the unique preferences of our clients during the winter season.
  • Assisting in sourcing the freshest and finest ingredients from local suppliers and contributing to sustainable and environmentally conscious practices in our culinary operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • Graduation from a recognized culinary program is an asset.
  • Proven success leading a team in Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie role.
  • Passion for creating exceptional dining experiences.
  • Extensive knowledge of various culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety regulations.
  • Creativity and flexibility to adapt menus based on seasonal availability and client preferences.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide kitchen staff to perform at their best.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and team members effectively.
  • Willingness to work in diverse and challenging settings.
