APS is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Junior Project Accountant to join their dynamic team. Reporting to the CFO, this role will act as an integral part of a three person team.


Qualifications

• Level 3 or higher CPA (CA/CGA/CMA) or other accounting designation
• Minimum of 2 years' financial or general accounting experience
• Excellent communication & organizational skills
• Excellent technical skills
• Experienced and skilled in reconciliations
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office SuiteJob Duties:

Job Duties

• Reporting to the CEO and CFO or other project managers as required.
• Tracking construction progress against contracts
• Vendor management
• Ensuring proper authorization and recordkeeping is in place
• Preparing prebilling reports, and issuing invoices
• Preparing and providing job costs reports
• Monitoring receivable income and collections.
• Updating contracts according to client requirements and reporting associated budget amendments.
• Other duties as required

Additional skills and experience requirements include:

• Minimum two years' experience in the construction industry
• Ability to report to CEO and CFO and other managers.
• Hands on mastery of Sage Acc Pac 500 ERP
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High quality standards; strong attention to detail
• High level Excel skills
• Takes ownership of tasks. Makes sure the job gets done by the deadline

Salary:
$50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
