About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned Business Systems Analyst to be responsible for analyzing business requirements,

identifying areas for improvement in business processes and systems, and proposing solutions to enhance overall

efficiency and productivity for our clients across a wide variety of industry and technical domains. You will be

working closely with ThoughtStorm and Client team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines,

and schedules are on track.

As a Business Systems Analyst you should have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. You

should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong understanding of business

processes, systems, and technologies. A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a

related field is typically required, along with several years of relevant work experience.

Industry-specific certifications, such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management

Professional (PMP) are highly desired.

Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering: Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to

understand their needs and objectives. Work with project managers and technical teams to ensure that

requirements are met and communicated effectively.

Process Mapping: Map current business processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend changes

to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience.

Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation for business processes, system requirements, and

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree or master's degree in a related field.
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Five or more years in business and systems analysis role
Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database management. Knowledge of programming languages such as

Java, Python, and C++ may also be required.

Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to nontechnical

stakeholders.

Ability to analyze complex data sets and identify patterns and trends.
Ability to identify problems, develop and evaluate potential solutions, and implement the best course of action.

Salary:
From $80,000.00 per year
