Job Summary We're looking for a Plant Manager to join the Tank team You will direct and organize the overall operational activities of the plant of 30 employees to obtain optimum efficiency and maximize profits. You will review team activity, operations, and production reports to determine required changes in operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Tank Holding's operational hierarchy: Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
- Develop and maintain a communication system to exchange information, enhance understanding and provide feedback between all plant operations and shifts.
- Develop and maintain a system to manage the plant's raw materials, components and product inventories.
- Ensure company policies are adhered to through enforcement and accountability.
- Assist corporate management with implementing a training and development program at the plant level.
- Hiring, layoffs and terminations of production, maintenance, shipping and administrative employees.
- Oversee all injury, property damage and nearmiss incident investigations.
- Interact and work with all functions of the corporate structure to ensure continued profitability of the company.
- You manage and direct the production, maintenance, shipping and administrative functions required at the plant level.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Education (required): B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or Operations Management
- Years of experience : Ten years of experience managing employees.
- Years of Supervisory experience: 57 years of progressive experience in manufacturing supervision is preferred.
- Industry experience: Knowledge of machine and processes, equipment, and materials is essential.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing employees to enhance teambuilding skills is a plus.
- Must at all times possess the mental maturity and temperamental ability to maintain sound employee relations.
- Strong communication and problemsolving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and delegate responsibilities to appropriate resources.
- Understanding of mechanical equipment, operation and maintenance.
