Warehouse Manager (Full-time)

Canadian owned and operated company is seeking a full-time Warehouse Manager for their fast-paced Richmond (Mitchell Island) facility.

Sign-on Bonus: up to $3,000

Having own vehicle to get to work is important as there is a lack of public transit to Mitchell Island

Duties include:

Planning of overall warehouse manpower resources
Training of new hires, and assisting warehouse employees with tasks when there is a need
Assigning work schedules and managing outtown orders
Preparing a list of outgoing shipments everyday
Maintaining equipment in maintenance program
Maintaining company's KPI program and being the KPI program manager
Ensuring a wellcoordinated reception of all materials, items, and products, and making sure they are sorted, labelled, and stored per company standards and policies
Ensuring delivery deadlines and quality objectives are met
Use of forklift and pallet jack
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and equipment
Picking of customer orders
Manage daytoday warehouse and fulfillment (receive, pick, pack, inventory, ship)
Organization of warehouse using forklift
Unloading and palletizing inventory
Cleaning warehouse as required
Participation in lean warehousing initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
Compliance with all safety policies
Assist customer pickup and receiving
Restocking of products

Qualifications:

Strong background in warehousing and fulfillment operations
Strong problemsolving aptitude and decisionmaking ability
Willingness to work hard and get hands dirty
Forklift license required
Strong organization skills
Strong team player
Reliable and timely
