About this Role:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Abide by designated organizational, as well as provincial safety guidelines, at all times;
Follow all production procedures as instructed, and perform all work to manufacturing specifications
Work effectively, as part of a team and individually
Operate a variety of hand and power tools related to the manufacture of product
Ensure the daily and weekly production schedule is adhered to
Perform product quality inspections at workstation
Track and record part, material, and product numbers
Monitor status of inventory
Keep workplace and shop floor clean and organized
Complete other duties and tasks as assigned.

Preferred qualifications include:

Must be reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast paced, labour intensive manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints is a plus
Strong working mechanical knowledge of machines and tools
Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods, and tools required in various assembly processes
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment an asset
College diploma is an asset
Good problemsolving and troubleshooting abilities
Leadership skills is an asset
Flexible and adaptable to regular changes in assigned tasks
Familiarity with membrane filtration technology is a definite asset
