Health System Marketing Manager (Manager - HSM) in Canada.

The Strategic Customer Group (SCG) of Johnson and Johnson MedTech (JJMT) Canada drives revenue growth from 28 strategic customers (key accounts) in Canada, by partnering with healthcare system with innovative health solutions and programs.

The Health System Strategies (HSS) team within SCG is responsible for establishing JJMT as the ' _partner of choice' _in the Canadian healthcare system
to deliver quadruple aim of reducing the cost of care, improving patient outcomes, enhancing patient and staff experience , by leveraging its most advanced technologies, health system solutions and clinically differentiated innovations.


The Health System Marketing Manager (Manager - HSM) is integral to delivering JJMT evolving value proposition in the Canadian marketplace.

The Health System Marketing Manager will report directly to the Director of Health System Strategies and work with a wide variety of cross-functional partners across the organization.

This is an individual contributor role.


Working closely with Commercial teams, Field Sales Organization and Strategic Account Managers, the Manager will be responsible for developing and executing innovative programs to build JJMT capabilities in shaping and growing Canadian Healthcare.

The Manager will collaborate closely with Business Units to support the uptake of our new digital technologies. The Manager develops strategic partnerships with healthcare providers in key strategic accounts for adoption of digital assets of JJMT


The Manager is accountable for creating value for customers measured by clinical outcomes, quality of care, financial performance/efficiency and any other assigned performance metrics, and patient experience.

The Manager will drive the strategy and agenda of Value Based Healthcare & Procurement for JJMT Canada.


The Manager will play a critical role in providing "voice of customer" (VOC) and insights to the organization to ensure that JJMT innovative programs & strategic solutions continue to help healthcare providers address their most pressing needs.

By ensuring flawless execution of innovative solutions and articulating the value JJMT brings to the customers, the Manager will play a critical role in accelerating JJMT growth and building long-term strategic partnerships with key customers across Canada.


Key Responsibilities

Monitors the competitive environment to build sustainable value-based strategies and actions. Routinely analyzes national, and provincial health and economic trends, anticipates issues/opportunities, and develops plans of action.


Creates tools to shift the Canadian healthcare system towards Value Based Health Care (VBHC):establishes JJMT as the partner of choice by shaping the Canadian healthcare & procurement environment towards value Based Healthcare (VBHC) and shifting the procurement environment from 'cost-only' focus to outcomes for patients, impact for the system, and economic sustainability of industry. Develops strategy, messages, tools, and success stories, for Strategic Account Managers within SCG, commercial teams & entire Field Sales Organization to communicate the value that JJMT can provide to the customer. Develops JJMT value proposition, tools, and messages around VBHC for external customers. Develops and delivers training to SCG and other internal stakeholders on JJMT VBHC value proposition, tools, and messages. Works closely with Strategic Account Managers to shape the procurement environment and embed digital innovations into public tenders. Partners with Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA) team to create value add business solutions for non-clinical stakeholders to support the shift to Value Based procurement.


Supports the uptake of our digital technologies and solutions and creates pathways from pilot to commercialization**:works closely with Business Units to develop digital Launch Excellence framework, digital readiness processes, toolkits, internal training/resource decks etc. Develops and deploys digital technologies value proposition presentations and messaging for external customers.
