Field Service Supervisor - Red Deer, Canada - NCS Multistage Inc.

The Field Service Supervisor is primarily responsible to support and mentor the Operations team by acting as front-line field support.

They will be required to plan and execute high profile operations, with a focus on primary excellence and job quality.

As a supervisor in the operation, they will be required to run all bottom hole assemblies in any area that NCS performs work.

• Responsible for operation, proper configuration of downhole tools for intended job and well design
• Ensure that operational specifications (limits) of the down hole tools are not exceeded
• Ensures down hole tools and equipment are configured correctly for intended job
• Liaise between cement services and energy company to ensure job success
• Provides frontline support for customer with a high degree of professionalism
• Communicate and work with customers, rig, cementers and other thirdparty personnel
• Accurately complete job reports create tool assembly schematics, and field service orders upon completion of job in a timely manner
• Report any nonconformance in a timely manner
• Convey information and job details to coworkers at the end of each shift
• Prepare equipment for each specific job
• All NCS tools and equipment looked after in a professional manner
• Help to promote safe work practices and higher standards of performance
• Support and uphold HS&E policies and procedures of NCS and the customer
• Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; preferred
• Technical Certificate/Diploma or Degree; preferred
• Minimum of 812 years of experience on drilling rig and or tool experience; required
• Industry related experience including; running Liner Hangers, Permanent Packers, Airlocks or Floatation collars, Toe Ports, Ball Drop systems and Sleeve systems in an Open Hole or Cemented Applications
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites; Excel with experience building tallies
• Work with other teams, and exhibit effective communication
• Selfmotivated with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to understand the importance of documentation
• Excellent judgement, ability to plan ahead, high level of efficiency & work ethic
• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, manage priorities
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Ability to perform job responsibilities in all weather conditions
• Perform physical labour when necessary, in addition to standing or travelling for long periods of time
• Ability to move or lift 25lbs 50lbs
• Valid Driver's license; required
