The Registered Nurse:
Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights; rotating from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.
About this location/unit:
The Slocan Community Health Centre serves the villages of New Denver, Silverton, Slocan, and Rosebery. It is a small rural Health Centre with residential unit that has 30 beds and 24-hour emergency department.
It is located on the eastern shore of Slocan Lake with the peaks of the Valhalla Mountains rising more than 2,100 metres on the opposite shore.
All manner of water sports include kayaking, canoeing, sailing, fishing, water skiing. In the winter, down hill, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling are the outdoor sports of choice.New Denver has a strong sense of community where artisans, environmentalists, tourism operators and many other entrepreneurs and businesses work together.
