Description

Under the direction and supervision of the Principal and the guidance of a teacher, the CTS Instructor provides educational/business instruction to students within a specified Division CTS Program.

The CTS Instructor is a self-managing, life-long learner who is committed to working with others to optimize student learning.

This positions follows the school calendar and works approximately 35 hours each week.

CTS Career Pathway Program Instruction - Grades

This role will be responsible for overseeing the Foods Program, as well as supervising students and overseeing the cafeteria environment.

Cooking ability and experience is a definite asset.

The successful incumbent will provide instruction for educational/business activities within the specified CTS Program area that provide direct preparation for career pathways.

Assist the teacher in designing and implementing individualized and group programs to meet the varied learning needs of each student within a supportive learning environment.

In collaboration with the teacher, maintain ongoing student assessment records.

Under the supervision of the teacher, provide formative feedback to students.

Order, prepare and organize program materials and resources according to curriculum and industry standards; maintain resources, as required.

In collaboration with the teacher, prepare financial records and deposits on a regular basis.

Perform other related duties, as required.
