The Job:


  • Direct and coordinate daily operations of the Materials Manufacturing plant.
  • Lead and manage a diverse team, ensuring efficient performance across all levels of staff.
  • Develop and implement systems and processes to enhance productivity and uphold quality standards.
  • Establish and monitor metrics and performance targets to drive effective asset utilization.
  • Uphold compliance with company policies and industry regulations at all times.
  • Spearhead the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding process for new hires.
  • Provide training and educational resources to staff as required.
  • Maintain and oversee plant facilities and equipment, arranging repairs or replacements when necessary.
  • Champion chemical safety protocols to create a secure working environment.

What we need from you:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of supervisory/management experience in a Chemical/Manufacturing environment.
  • Profound understanding of regulatory requirements for operating manufacturing plants.
  • Solid grasp of business and management principles, including budgeting, strategic planning, and resource allocation.
  • Indepth knowledge of manufacturing operations, project planning, cost control, and program management.
  • Exceptional problemsolving skills, with the ability to analyze root causes and address operational challenges.
  • Strong competence in operating plant equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and exceptional organizational skills.
