The Job:

Direct and coordinate daily operations of the Materials Manufacturing plant.
Lead and manage a diverse team, ensuring efficient performance across all levels of staff.
Develop and implement systems and processes to enhance productivity and uphold quality standards.
Establish and monitor metrics and performance targets to drive effective asset utilization.
Uphold compliance with company policies and industry regulations at all times.
Spearhead the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding process for new hires.
Provide training and educational resources to staff as required.
Maintain and oversee plant facilities and equipment, arranging repairs or replacements when necessary.
Champion chemical safety protocols to create a secure working environment.

What we need from you:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 7 years of supervisory/management experience in a Chemical/Manufacturing environment.
Profound understanding of regulatory requirements for operating manufacturing plants.
Solid grasp of business and management principles, including budgeting, strategic planning, and resource allocation.
Indepth knowledge of manufacturing operations, project planning, cost control, and program management.
Exceptional problemsolving skills, with the ability to analyze root causes and address operational challenges.
Strong competence in operating plant equipment safely and efficiently.
Demonstrated leadership qualities and exceptional organizational skills.
