RIGGER JOB DESCRIPTION:


  • Prepare equipment based on Delivery Ticket and verify accuracy
  • Load trucks with required equipment, tools and safety gear
  • Ensure all paperwork is complete and accurate
  • Assist with maintenance of equipment on the jobsite as well as in the shop
  • Clean and maintain trucks, trailers and heavy equipment
  • Perform rigging and derigging services in accordance with all safety protocols
  • Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly for pickup and delivery of equipment, parts, tools and materials
  • General warehouse tasks such as receiving and storing parts, materials and equipment
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned
  • Perform preoperational inspections including hazard assessments, defining rigging needed and weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting.
  • Attend toolbox meetings in a constructive and contributive manner.
  • Following all site rules and adhering to at all times.
  • Swing Stage ticket and fall arrest certification must be kept current
  • Good interactive skills and customer service orientation.
  • Represent the company, resolving customer concerns while keeping a positive attitude


We are currently seeking full time Swing Stage Riggers to work Monday - Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (1 hour lunch), with the possibility of overtime.

Duties:

  • Load and unload trucks
  • Assemble and disassemble equipment
  • General warehouse tasks such as receiving and storing parts, materials, and equipment
  • Participate in Safety training as required General Requirements and Skills:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Readily accepts supervisory direction
  • Effectively read, write, and speak English
  • Considerate and respectful of customers and co-workers
  • Energetic and physically able to lift and move 50 lbs
  • Willing to work outdoors in all seasons
  • Working at heights

General Requirement and Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Use power tools
  • Readily accepts supervisory direction
  • Effectively read, write and speak English
  • Considerate and respectful of customers and coworkers
  • Energetic and physically able to grip, lift and move 50 lbs
  • Willing to work outdoors in all seasons
Office is near the Royal Oak SkyTrain Station


Pay:
$22.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
