POSITION SCOPE:


Primary responsibility is to ensure inventory accuracy through random cycle counts on daily, monthly and/or quarterly basis and to ensure and maintain accurate records of in-stock/out-stock products and services.


RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:


  • Ensure there are accurate inventory levels, and discrepancies are immediately reported to the Plant Management and investigated
  • Random, regular establishment and maintenance of cycle counts
  • Evaluate variance in inventory and make recommendations on improvements
  • Review nonactive, slow moving inventory (both finished goods and components) and make recommendations on disposition
  • Create, manage and track all disposal forms as controlled documents Counting products listed on the appropriate count sheet, calculating inventory
  • Accuracy, identifying inventory transaction problems, researching discrepancies to identify causes of problems, assisting with location audits and verifying that the physical location matches bin location(s), inputting adjustments after review.
  • Will gain knowledge of product and storage locations within facility and outside warehouse
  • Committed to principles of occupational health and safety.
  • All other duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:


KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years' experience with high school diploma or equivalency required or 2-3 years' experience with post-secondary education or other job required certification or license required; Warehouse Management System Literate; 2-3 years' Radio Frequency Scanning experience; Valid Counter Balance License; Valid Raymond Reach License
