Qualifications:
_
- 1 year of childcare experience (preferred)
- Must provide recent satisfactory police check with vulnerable sector screen included (within the last 6 months)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with staff and parents
- Strong knowledge of CCEYA would be an asset.
- Current Health Certificate, Immunization Record
- Standard First Aid & Infant/Child CPR certification
- Mature and responsible attitude towards work
Responsibilities:_
- Plan, carry out, and assess developmentally appropriate activities and experiences in harmony with the centre's philosophy
- Working with a team of teachers to provide a quality and nurturing early education learning environment.
- Encourage and assist children to practice selfhelp daily
- Ensure guidance of children's behaviour that encourages positive selfconcept
- Supporting parents in their cooperative roles
- Maintain excellent relationships with families
- Carry out the responsibilities assigned to you
- Maintain confidentiality of all information related to the centre's children, parents, and staff
- Keep up with Professional Development
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- Attend regular staff meetings
- Indoor and outdoor activities
- Standing, bending, crouching and some lifting are involved
Job Types:
Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
Salary:
From $18.52 per hour
