Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain tractors and other heavy machinery in a warehouse distribution setting
  • Perform order picking and loading of materials onto trucks
  • Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory and ensure accurate order fulfillment
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on tractors to ensure proper functioning
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Requirements:


  • Previous experience operating tractors or similar heavy machinery
  • Mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot minor issues
  • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Note:

Forklift experience is not required for this position, as it specifically focuses on tractor operation within the warehouse distribution environment.


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Seasonal, Freelance, Apprenticeship, Internship / Co-op

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week


Salary:
$35.50-$40.00 per hour
