The Canadian Dental Association (CDA) is seeking a
Programs & Services Associate to join our team on a full-time basis.


About CDA and the Position


The CDA is the national voice for dentistry dedicated to the promotion of optimal oral health, an essential component of general health, and to the advancement and leadership of a unified profession.

Located in Ottawa, the CDA has approximately 35 staff who work towards the CDA's vision of a healthy public, a strong profession, and a unified community.

The Programs and Services Team delivers important services to dentists and key dental stakeholders.

The Programs and Services Associate supports this work in many ways including data management and reporting, committee support and administration.

The Programs and Services Associate is responsible for several recurring tasks, both technical and administrative, such as updating websites, drafting communications to stakeholders, importing data feeds, contributing to annual campaigns.


About You
You are an individual contributor, and you know how to be part of a small team. You love to learn new things and you go out of your way to help others. You have advanced experience using Microsoft word and Excel. You possess the technical skills to manipulate and interpret data.

You've planned and administered meetings from A to Z -gathering resources, booking rooms, taking notes, producing minutes, and posting results.

Having experience editing SharePoint sites is a strong asset. Experience with Tableau or Power BI is also a strong asset.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A college diploma in business administration or other relevant field of study in a technical area
  • At least 3 years of experience in an administrative and/or technical support capacity
  • English essential and bilingual (French) an asset
