About the Role
Loss Prevention Coordinator - Contract (Mat Leave)
Full-time

Mississauga, ON


How You'll Help

  • Oversee the day to day management and administration of North American access control system.
  • Maintain national photo badge inventory. Preparing and issuing photo ID for all new employees.
  • Upload investigation summaries, findings and reports into security database. Maintain an adequate level of communication with security investigators in order to have investigation reports ready for them to proceed if necessary with prosecution.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of departmental standards and guidelines.
  • Prepare and elaborate personnel reports that are sent to the terminals and stand alone offices for accuracy. Collaborating with terminal managers and site administrators to ensure all employee attrition is captured.

Your Skills & Experience:


  • Postsecondary education in business administration or related security programs
  • Minimum of secondary education, with preference of postsecondary education or a combination of education and experience
  • Previous Transportation or operational experience is preferred
  • Previous experience in corporate security and with security systems
  • Ability to deal with highly confidential situations and events
  • Agile and thorough learner, recognizing and adapting to continuously changing conditions
  • Communication skills advanced both written and spoken
  • Computer skills accuracy
  • Demonstrated customer relationship skills
  • Time management skills
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Able to work deadlines in high transactional environment
  • Ability to champion business needs in a collaborative manner to colleagues
  • Strong sense of urgency and ownership on deliverables

  • Subject to a clear criminal background check prior to employment
  • Up to _5_ percent travel may be required
  • Busy office environment with extensive computer work and handling of documentation
  • May be required to visit other locations, including offices, terminals, maintenance shops, etc Extended period sitting in a work station working on a computer and on a phone
  • Normally Monday to Friday, day time hours but may be required outside of these hours
