Description

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Using precision measuring tools such as micrometers & dial indicators to measure hydraulic components (Hydraulic cylinder rods, valve spools, pump shafts, yokes etc.)
Preparation and clean all components before proceeding with repair process
Masking parts for stripping of original chrome
Daily operation of the chrome tanks
Operating manual polishing machine to repair round diameter shafts to precision specifications required while using the correct polish belts required
Review blueprints or specifications for a job if drawings are provided
Maintain cleaning tanks daily
Maintain glass blasting units
Maintain clamps for corrosion and bending
Maintain & clean all copper jigs, & anodes
Assembly and removal of chrome fixtures
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Answering to chrome shop foreman in regards to daily tasks


QUALIFICATIONS:


Salary:
$43,680.00-$68,640.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
  • Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Work: 1 year (preferred)
