    Clinical Director (attached description) CLINICS: St-Laurent Universal Physiotherapy St-Laurent

    POSTING DATES : From April 9 to April 17, 2024

    START DATE: As soon as possible

    SCHEDULE: Full-time position (5 days/week) including clinical hours

    PREREQUISITES:

    Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience as a clinician - Management education or experience (considered an asset)

    SKILLS REQUIRED:

    Communication skills (staff, patients, referrals, organizations) - Leadership and team mobilization

    Roles and Responsibilities - CLINICAL DIRECTOR

    The Clinical Director is accountable for ensuring the effective management of the clinic to guarantee its development and growth. To achieve this, they must have a strategic vision of operations, business development, and financial health. They also practice as a clinician. The Clinical Director represents and embodies the core values of Universal Physiotherapy to mobilize their team towards achieving objectives. They work closely with the Regional Director as well as other directors in areas such as quality, operations, development, marketing, human resources, and finance.

    The main responsibilities include:

    Operations Management & Financial Management

    Ensure that company standards are applied and meet the expectations of referrers, clients, and other organizations, including professional bodies, in terms of quality, efficiency, and pricing.

    Ensure the quality of care provided by each individual and that record-keeping is in line with expectations.

    Managing patient, referrer, or staff complaints;

    Monitoring operational and financial performance indicators (revenue, expenses, treatment frequency, etc.) and analyzing the results;

    Participating in budget preparation;

    Ensuring revenue growth in line with objectives and budget forecasts;

    Ensuring clinic profitability and taking necessary measures in case of deviations from forecasted results.

    Human Resources Management & Leadership

    Ensuring effective human resources management, a positive work environment, and staff retention;

    Proactively and dynamically managing staff;

    Influencing and guiding the work of team members;

    Establishing positive relationships with each individual;

    Being available to support and address staff inquiries;

    Identifying staffing needs, actively participating in recruitment and onboarding processes for new hires;

    Addressing any issues or specific situations related to conflicts, performance problems, attitudes, etc.;

    Approving requests for ongoing training based on personal development objectives and plans, as well as requests for leaves and annual vacations;

    Conducting annual performance evaluations;

    Facilitating the organization of social activities, celebrations, and team-building events.

    Meeting with each employee on a monthly 1:1 basis and regularly organizing team meetings.

    Client and Service Development

    Implementing development strategies to ensure the clinic's positioning;

    Introducing new specialties or services to offer;

    Identifying the needs of the community and developing a service proposal;

    Maintaining and developing new business relationships with physicians and other referrers.
