    Straight Truck Driver

    Oromocto, NB

    Advantage Personnel is currently seeking a Straight Truck Driver to join our client's Home Delivery Team based in Oromocto, NB. Our client has been recognized as part of Canada's top managed companies for several consecutive years. We are in search of drivers who bring enthusiasm and excel in customer service. This role involves physical work, delivering furniture and appliances into customers' homes without damage. Besides the daily tasks, you'll have the chance to collaborate on new projects and advance within the company.

    Available Shifts: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm

    Rate of Pay: $18.00 per hour

    Responsibilities:

    • Deliver furniture and appliances inside customers' homes.
    • Collaborate with a helper as a team.
    • Navigate GPS and delivery software efficiently.
    • Lift and carry products, ensuring no damages during delivery.
    • Keep track of delivery status.
    • Assemble products at customers' homes.
    • Provide excellent customer service in-person and over the phone.
    • Be available for rotational Saturdays and overtime if needed.

    Candidate Requirements:

    • Must have Class 5 commercial driving experience.
    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
    • Capable of lifting and carrying heavy products exceeding 100lbs.
    • Customer service-focused.
    • Flexible to work varying shifts, including evenings and Saturdays.
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Valid Driver's Abstract (within 30 days).
    • CSA safety boots/shoes in good condition.
    • Successful completion of a Criminal Record Search required for this role.
    • Strong customer service and communication skills.
