POSITION:
NIGHT AUDITOR
REPORTING TO:
GUEST SERVICES MANAGER
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To assist guests efficiently, courteously and professionally in all Front Desk related functions, and to maintain high standards of Service and Hospitality and to close out nightly the transactional requirements of the hotel.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- The Night Auditor is directly responsible for the prompt and efficient balancing of the day's transactions of the entire hotel.
- Check in and check out of guests and for meeting many other guest needs during their stay.
- Responsible for the smooth operation of the front office, and for insuring that all standard
- The person is responsible for all emergency situations during his work shift as well as taking care of all Front Desk Agent responsibilities occurring during the night shift.
- Perform all audit procedures as set forth by the Hotel and company, on a daily basis.
- Verify the status of all wakeup call requests and ensure they are properly handled.
- Balance all cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift. Make deposits of cash.
- Ensuring guests are welcomed at check in and out of hotel, receiving payment, correcting account and reservation discrepancies, creating and canceling reservations and acting as a switchboard relief.
- Answers the phones and all other related phone duties in a polite and professional manner
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival in a courteous and friendly manner
- Answers all guest inquiries, complaints concerning the Hotel, its services, etc. in a polite and tactful manner
- Provide guest security through effective key control and confidentiality
- Ensure any guest messages or faxes are accurately logged and forwarded to the correct guest
- Ensure all nonstop checkouts are processed and filed for delivery upon request of guest
- Correct any inaccuracies and discrepancies on any guest accounts or profiles
- Handle all guest inquiries
- Updates Guest Accounts and presents checks to guests (exchanges currency, balances cash daily)
- Any other various request within the normal boundaries of the job requested my Management.
HOURS:
Full time based on business levels
