    Overview


    We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Associate, Client Relations to join our Client Relations team.

    As an Associate, Client Relations, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service and support to Investment Advisors, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a seamless experience. By managing inquiries, facilitating transactions, and maintaining data integrity, you will help strengthen RPIA's client relationships and uphold service excellence. Reporting directly to the Head of Client Relations, your role will be essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, enhancing advisor interactions, and contributing to a well-managed and responsive support function.

    Responsibilities

    • Product Knowledge: Maintains a comprehensive understanding of all RPIA product offerings to provide accurate and timely responses to client inquiries.
    • Advisor Support: Respond to Investment Advisor queries promptly and professionally, ensuring clarity, consistency, and thoughtful communication.
    • Transaction Management: Assists with subscription and redemption requests, including handling exceptions and processing trade corrections.
    • Client Onboarding: Guides clients through the onboarding process, ensuring all documentation is complete and proactively following up on any missing information to maintain compliance.
    • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborates with fund administrators and internal teams to resolve advisor queries and exception requests.
    • Process Maintenance: Maintain, update, and enhance operational procedures to support accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement.
    • CRM Data Management & Reporting: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of CRM data by maintaining client profiles, updating records, and supporting reporting needs across advisor teams.
    • Additional Support: Contribute to other department initiatives, projects, and responsibilities as required.
    • Service Excellence: Delivers high-quality, accurate, and timely support to Investment Advisors, ensuring a seamless and professional client experience.
    • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrates a strong understanding of investment products, transactions, and CRM systems to manage data efficiently and support advisors effectively.
    • Problem-Solving & Initiative: Anticipates potential challenges, resolves issues proactively, and seeks continuous improvements in processes and service delivery.
    • Attention to Detail: Maintains accuracy in transaction processing, onboarding documentation, and CRM management to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
    • Adaptability: Navigates shifting priorities and changing client needs with agility while maintaining service excellence.
    • Communication: Communicates clearly and eloquently both verbally and in writing and displays exceptional interpersonal skills when working with clients as well as team members.
    • Accountability: Embraces challenges and responsibility and takes pride in the support and work provided.
    • Teamwork: A reliable collaborator who values the benefits of a team-first attitude and is willing to pitch in however and wherever possible.

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
    • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in client support in the financial services, investment, or related industry, ideally with knowledge of advisor practice management.
    • Experience working with a CRM system
    • Completion or progress toward industry-related courses such as CSC, CIM, CAIA, or CFA is preferred.
    • Proficiency in French is considered an asset.
