The successful individual will be responsible for driving sales through generating new leads, managing accounts, promoting Britespan's product lines through a variety of mediums (networking, cold-calling, social media, etc.), and educating clients and prospects.

About the Position:
- Standard Monday
- Friday, 8 am 5 pm
- Remote home office (ability to travel to Head Office in Wingham, ON as required)
- Must be able to travel to various customer locations as required within Ontario; primarily in the GTA
- Company laptop and cell phone provided

Responsibilities:
- Close and execute sales contracts clearly stating terms of the agreement
- Contacting existing customers and qualifying leads
- Accountable for monitoring project quotes, identifying timelines and established budgets
- Oversee and participate in contract negotiations as required with end users, consultants, contractors, and vendors
- Able to read architectural building plans, schematics, and construction layouts
- Keep meticulous records and meeting notes in CRM
- Constantly communicate the status of all projects to team members
- Understand and enforce contract documents
- Attend project progress meetings as required
- Liaise and maintain interaction with site personnel including site supers and customer project managers
- Be coachable and adaptable
- Other duties as assigned by senior management
Position Qualifications:
- Education and Knowledge_
- A university degree or college diploma in business, marketing or related field _Asset_
- Knowledge of construction
- Knowledge of fabric buildings _Asset_
- Knowledge of the municipal planning process, appropriate building codes and requirements
- Skills_
- A high level of leadership skills, particularly focused in sales
- Proven background in B2B/B2C sales
- Leverage existing company and industry resources to maximize results
- Selfstarter with the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Excellent task and time management
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Proven organizational, negotiation, communication, sales and problemsolving skills
- Able to operate all Microsoft Office programs
- Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Experience_
- 10 + years' experience developing and executing territory sales strategies (including direct sales)
- 2 + years construction related experience
- Experience in Fabric _Asset_
- Experience in preengineered and/or postframed buildings
- Experience with CRM Systems
- Communication_
- Excellent oral, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Ability to interact in a team environment with a team mindset
