JOB SUMMARY:

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

Able to problem solve and trouble shoot.
Knowledge of construction methods and various trades such as demolition, framing, basic HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing, underlayment, drywall, flooring installation, finish carpentry (baseboards, casing, crown, cabinet installation, windows, door and minor siding installation).
Quality control experience and knowledge of Alberta Building codes
Ability to interact and communicate well with the Clients, Project Manager and Sub trades through the job.
Selfmotivated and independent worker with attention to detail

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead Carpenter is completely responsible for the successful completion of the jobs given to them, which includes completing on time, on budget and maintaining a high level of quality, safety and professionalism.

Carpenters work indoors and outdoors, sometimes in tight spaces and must be able to adapt to the conditions and circumstances.

They work with various hand tools and must keep their worksite in a clean, safe condition.

The Lead Carpenter may at times need to deal with customer request, questions and inquires in a polite and business-like manner.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting up to 60lbs unassisted, bending, standing, climbing or walking. Must be able to safely use manual and power tools.
Must have own basic carpentry tools and reliable transportation
Must pass a drug test for future projects, hold a valid driver's license, provide own cell phone.

Salary:
$60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
