Operating Room Leader

Who we are looking for:


  • Perioperative registered nurse with current knowledge of nursing care, issues, and best practices
  • Experience in a medical administrative leadership role that positively influences others, creating acceptance and support for ideas, encourages improvement
  • Professional, polite team player
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with an eye for detail and accuracy
  • Flexible, adaptive, enthusiastic personality

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Scrub or circulate in the Operating Room
  • Maintain nursing guidelines and CPSBC standards by writing and updating policies and procedures, to be authorized by the Medical Director
  • Adopt and implement innovative nursing practices to improve our facility
  • Recruit, select and guide nursing staff through orientation and ongoing support/supervision
  • Manage nursing operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
  • Oversee nursing staff with ongoing support and annual performance reviews
  • Order medications and necessary supplies
  • Coordinate time with reps/sales personnel on behalf of Clinic 80
  • Monitor and coordinate Annual Equipment Inspections

Our facility is complying with BCCDC and Public Health Officer directions for safety. Patients and staff screened at entry for temperature and wellness. Masks worn when physical distancing not possible. All staff must be double-vaccinated.


Salary:
$38.50-$58.00 per hour
