Job Summary
You will oversee our production processes, ensuring the employees runs smoothly and efficiently. You will motivate a team of production associates to achieve production goals, quality standards and delivery deadlines.


Schedule:


  • Afternoons 3:00PM to Midnight
  • Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

  • Use effective leadership strategies to engage and motivate employees
  • Commit to the continuous learning and professional development of staff
  • Demonstrate strong problemsolving skills to maximize production efficiencies
  • Make strategic decisions about the frontline workforce to optimize operations
  • Practice strong communication skills and work crossfunctionally to strengthen interdepartmental cooperation
  • Enforce safety regulations and plant rules to ensure a safe and healthly work environment
  • Carry out Preventive Maintenance procedures on a "scheduled" basis, making note of any repairs or problems that are noticed.
  • Enter related information into a computer system to ensure proper record keeping.
  • Adhere to the collective agreement in a unionized environment

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • OSSD or Equivalent
  • 2 professional references
  • Willingness to work weekends on a 89 week rotation
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours
