Here is what you will be doing:

  • Work directly with internal and external stakeholders to lead project planning, adoption, implementation, change management and evaluation.-
  • Foster healthy relationships and partnerships with champions and regional sponsors for the adoption of Digital Health Solutions.
  • Track projects to ensure timelines are adhered and provide guidance to stakeholders to ensure on-time and successful project implementation.
  • Continuous learning on trending virtual care products and services, digital healthcare solutions, related privacy and security issues, and MoH policy.
  • Creation of clear and effective meeting materials, knowledge products, etc. to lead partner engagements.
  • Provide quality improvement supports to optimize the use of provider Electronic Medical Records (EMRs).
  • Work with Ontario Health Teams (OHTs) and Health Service Providers (HSPs) to create clinical workflows and manage systems to track adoption, utilization, proficiency and sustainment.
  • Create, develop and report ongoing project progress, including adoption rates, utilization and sustainment.
  • Use problem recognition and problem-solving abilities to handle complex problems and informs management of potential issues, risks and associated solutions.
  • Execute on strategies and change management tactics to increase adoption rate, spread and scale for identified digital health initiatives/solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders externally and internally within the North Regions including but not limited to OHTS, HSPs and the eCE.
  • Identify champions and regional sponsors for the adoption of Digital Health Solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Here is what you will need to be successful:

Education and Experience- Bachelor's degree in health-related discipline, business administration or in a field related to the job responsibilities or equivalent work experience- Minimum of four (4) years of specialized Digital Health related experience, including previous experience working in an IT environment or working within system integration- Minimum of four (4) years health system experience- Project management experience in health system planning and supporting/enabling implementation of large-scale strategic projects- Experience leading development and implementation of innovative programs/projects and/or virtual care models and technologies in complex clinical environments preferred- Experience with enabling technologies and digital health within Ontario, including a solid understanding of electronic medical records (EMRs)- Understanding of digital health technology and interoperability standards- Understanding of current and future trends in digital health, health information management and health information technology systems- A solid understanding of clinical processes, workflows and the impact of technology changes on patient service delivery- Deep understanding of virtual care models, solutions, and platforms- In-depth development knowledge of local health issues, priorities and needs while recognizing the broader trends in health care policy and system development- Change Management Professional designation is an asset- Experience in coaching/collaborating with program/project delivery teams of various sizes and scope (may include staff, eCE staff, OHTs and HSPs- Strategic planning, marketing and communications experience desired- Knowledge of security practices and data privacy legislation (PHIPA & PIPEDA)- Knowledge of Ontario health sector and workforce trends within this sector- Excellent computer skills required (e.g.
