Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain a neat, organized, and visually appealing store
- Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is properly displayed
- Process sales transactions and handle cash and credit card payments
- Meet and exceed sales targets and goals
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist with inventory management and perform regular stock checks
- Train and coach new sales associates on company policies, procedures, and sales techniques
- Ensure that the store is opened and closed properly and securely
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and multitask
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of fashion and clothing trends
- Must be able to lift and move boxes up to 50 pounds
Day range:
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Shift:
- 8 hour shift
Work setting:
- Apparel store
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Edmonton, AB T5C 3C8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
