PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs through appropriate channels
  • Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • Organizes and attends career fairs and other employment forums
  • Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated within the organization successfully
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
  • Promote the organization's brand and reputation throughout recruitment practices
  • May perform other HR functions as required.

EXPERIENCE:


  • 23 years of recruitment experience
  • Ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competencybased, etc.)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong decisionmaking skills
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector would be an asset

EDUCATION:


  • Postsecondary education in human resources
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered
  • CPHR designation preferred

POSITION STATUS:
Full-time permanent


HOURS OF WORK:35 hours per week (Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 4:30pm)


POSTING END DATE:

ANNUAL SALARY:
$50,000.00


WORK LOCATION:175 Mayfair Avenue (head office) and on-site only
