Description

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant or hotel
Escort guests to their assigned tables or rooms
Provide menus and assist with seating arrangements
Take reservations and manage waitlists
Answer phone calls and provide information about the establishment
Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency
Assist with food service tasks as needed

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members
Strong hospitality mindset to provide exceptional customer service
Proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing
Knowledge of food service procedures and etiquette
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
Familiarity with hotel or restaurant operations is a plus
