Full-time Civil Site-Foreperson in the Fraser Valley

Due to continued growth and expansion we are looking to hire permanent full time Site-Foreperson with experience in civil and residential work to run various civil job sites.

Work is located in the lower mainland, mostly Fraser Valley

Duties:

Directs and coordinates crew members on site
Ensures labor, equipment, materials are on site
Ensures materials, equipment and labor are utilized most efficiently and effectively
Ensures that deliveries to site are complete and in accordance with materials ordered
Manage the permit and inspection process and attending and conducting progress meetings
Maintain daily paperwork, extra work orders, change orders and keep the owner updated on important issues
Conducting and/or attending preconstruction, progress and other project and staff meetings

Position Requirements:

-
5 years experience in civil construction:

Able to work in all weather
Must be punctual and reliable
Must be willing to commute to work
Must be willing to work safely in a team environment
Experience supervising job sites for civil sites
Experience on an excavator

Other Requirements:

Is committed to doing quality work the first time with little or no need for rework
Is deadline driven, punctual and respects other people's time
Proficient knowledge of WorkSafeBC standards and policies
A valid BC driver's license (class 5)
First Aid would be an asset

Salary:

$35.00-$45.00 per hour
