Description
The
Community Mental Health Worker provides assistance to adults living with psychiatric disabilities to integrate fully into the local community; implementing the Individual Recovery Plans of the persons served assigned to the worker, as defined by Chilliwack Mental Health; and providing a positive liaison with Chilliwack Mental Health, persons served and community (e.g. landlords, family).

Here's what we need from you:

  • The ability to take initiative with creativity and flexibility
  • The ability to work as a member of a team as well as being able to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to mange a caseload for 69 persons served
  • Community Mentla Health Worker certificate
  • Familiar with and able to implement Psychosocial Rehabilitation principles fostering a belief in the recovery process
  • Possession of a Class 5 BC Drivers License and use of personal vehicle for person served appointments, etc.
  • Emergency First Aid Certificate
  • Proof of full COVID19 vaccination

Here's what you can expect:


Shifts are:
Tues 9am-3pm, Wed 9am-3pm, Thurs 9am-3pm, Fri 8am-4pm (with some flexibility)
