- Participate in vendor governance operations, managing vendor inventory, segmentation, engagement, and lifecycle management. Play a role in vendor due diligence, risk assessment, and the implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to the development of key performance indicators, performance measurement, improvement plans, and the monitoring and reporting of program performance.
- Contribute to the establishment of a vendor governance program framework, encompassing the development of policies, procedures, roles and responsibilities, vendor classification, segmentation methodology, process mapping, informational and educational materials, change management plans, program metrics, and roadmaps.
- Regularly report status updates and address issues to the Project Manager. Undertake additional tasks as reasonably required by the Project Manager.
- Collaborate with support functions, business clients, and vendors, involving the presentation of informational and educational materials related to the vendor governance program. Offer guidance on and application of industry standards and best practices.
- Experience in managing vendor engagement throughout the lifecycle, encompassing sourcing, contract negotiation, on-boarding, administration, relationship management, closeout, and off-boarding.
- Expertise in third-party risk management, including assessing inherent risks, vendor segmentation, due diligence, identification of risks in various domains (financial, cyber, privacy, legal, business continuity, and ESG), risk mitigation, and reporting. Have strong experience working with LMS
- Demonstrated familiarity with vendor governance standards, practices, processes, and integration.
- Knowledge and understanding of risk and vendor governance concerning artificial intelligence is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with SAP 4HANA and Ivalua Supplier Management module is an asset
- Track record in implementing new programs and change management, including the development of policy and procedural documentation, process mapping, and the creation of informational and educational materials.
- Possession of certifications such as Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP), Certified Professional Purchasing (CCP), Institute for Supply Management (ISM), or similar designations is an additional asset.
