Description
Brandt is currently seeking an experienced HR Administrator - Immigration to join our team and oversee the Temporary Foreign Workers program.
HR Administrator - Immigration will report to the HR Manager and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies related to hiring and employing Temporary Foreign Workers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate with recruitment to confirm legal working eligibility for all Temporary Foreign Workers.
- Maintain accurate records and documents pertaining to personnel files, including statuses, requests, expirations, and deadlines.
- Communicate and handle both employee and manager requests for information.
- Liaise with government agencies, legal counsel, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Assist with data entry into various systems, reports, and documents.
- Ensure compliance and stay current with all immigration laws and regulations related to the employment of Temporary Foreign Workers.
- Help administrate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for HR personnel and operations.
- Assist in the community settlement process for newcomers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills required; familiarity with Microsoft programs and HRIS systems.
- Certificate, diploma, or bachelor's degree in related field.
- Familiarity with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nomination Program (SINP).
- Previous Human Resources experience considered an asset.
