At our
Stratford Facility we fabricate and assemble components for heavy truck, defense and off-road equipment companies.

We feature fitting and welding, metal forming, saw cutting, painting, assembly departments and manufacture everything from small components to large structures, sheet metal to heavy plate.


Job description:


Responsible for the fabrication, installation, set up and machining of new or replacement components or parts to fulfill custom specifications, customer orders and tooling demands.

Incumbent will select appropriate tooling to complete task in a timely manner. Ability to use a variety of measuring equipment to assure tolerances meet customer specifications.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure all parts comply with the blueprint specifications and quality standards. Parts that are out of specification or damaged are to be segregated and quality assurance notified for disposition.
  • Set up and machine weldments and or piece parts to drawing specifications.
  • Select appropriate tooling for job requirements.
  • Communicate and assist coworkers, operators, supervisors, and lead hands when required.
  • Maintain and secure work tools.
  • Clean and maintain work area.
  • Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health & safety Regulations and Organizational Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Follow all lock out procedures when doing repairs, and adjustments.
  • Completion of ITP paperwork.
  • Set up and operate CNC horizontal and or vertical mills, lathes, and drilling.
  • Ability to complete basic programming preferred.
  • Calculate dimensions or tolerances using instruments such as micrometers or vernier calipers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Key Requirements:
(Educational Requirements, equip requirements, software skills or programs)

Journeyman certification or equivalent experience.


Other Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing, and some advanced mathematic skills.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Understands safe work practices.
  • Advanced Skills (Journeyman or equivalent experience) required in one or more of the following areas:
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Experience using one or more of the following machines: CNC horizontal and
or vertical mills, lathes, and drilling.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team must have excellent
problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of cranes, forklift trucks, and various lifting devices and equipment

$24.00-$32.00 per hour
