Position Overview:
This position is responsible for shipping/receiving, logistics, and Industrial Services support. The individual will ensure Industrial Services and Parts Sales materials are effectively organized in inventory or staged as required, transacting components in the ERP system, and ensuring organized and accurate inventory. The Logistics Coordinator - Shipper Receiver takes ownership of ensuring all shipments leaving the facility are packaged properly and meet order requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipping, Receiving, and Logistics:
- Unload and inspect incoming shipments for damage, verify the receipt of goods against order documentation, and resolve any discrepancies with team members.
- Receive Purchase Orders in the MRP/ERP system, label/identify as required, and store items in assigned locations.
- Receive Repair/Service orders, take photos, and identify them as required.
- Package, crate, and prepare outgoing shipments, including preserving goods following preservation standards.
- Ensure shipment checklists are completed before shipping customer orders.
- Prepare shipping documents for local transport and international shipments, including commercial invoices and customs trade documents.
- Perform shipping transactions in the MRP/ERP system and shipment confirmations once customer orders leave the building.
- Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- Drive the company truck for local pick-ups and deliveries.
Inventory and Operations Support:
- Assist with the disposition of items requiring quality review and verification.
- Pick and stage items for production and service jobs and perform transactions for these jobs in the MRP/ERP system.
- Maintain required shipping supplies, including boxes, wood, and crates.
- Organize and maintain parts racking and the Shipping/Receiving areas.
- Assist with the maintenance of shipping/receiving equipment and supplies.
Work Location and Work Arrangement:
This is an on-site role based at our Surrey, BC location. The role requires in-person attendance to manage physical inventory and shipments.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years' experience with international shipping document generation, customs compliance, and shipping/receiving is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in inventory control and materials management in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Competency with MS Product Suite is required, and experience with an MRP/ERP system is an asset.
- Minimum high school diploma; post-secondary training in a related field is an asset.
- Knowledge of the assembly process for industrial equipment and lean manufacturing is an asset.
- Basic carpentry skills for skid and crate construction.
- Forklift, overhead crane, and rigging experience.
- Clean driving abstract and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Extremely organized, efficient, and hardworking team member with attention to detail and a desire for continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills in English; both written and verbal.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $54,000.00-$64,000.00 per year
