Euroworld Corporation Inc.is currently seeking an experienced construction
Procurement Assistant to start working as management trainee during the probation period and based on successfully completion, will be considered to be a full time employee.
As a Construction Procurement Assistant, you will support procurement activities within construction projects, facilitating the acquisition of materials, services, and equipment necessary for project execution.
This role involves assisting in the procurement process, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of construction-related goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Support: Assist in the procurement process by preparing purchase orders, requests for proposals (RFPs), and bid packages for construction materials, equipment, and services.

Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and vendors. Source potential suppliers, obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and manage vendor contracts to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods/services.

Documentation and Records: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and delivery documentation. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to identify procurement needs and specifications. Communicate effectively with vendors to clarify requirements and resolve procurement-related issues.

Inventory and Logistics: Monitor inventory levels of construction materials and equipment. Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of materials at construction sites.

Cost Tracking and Analysis: Assist in tracking procurement costs and expenditures. Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and support budget management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; postsecondary education in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is an asset.
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, bidding procedures, and contract management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software/tools.
Experience:
Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or related roles, especially within the construction sector, is beneficial.
Working Conditions:
Primarily office-based work, with occasional site visits or interactions with vendors and suppliers.

$17.00-$18.50 per hour
