    The Opportunity


    We're building a new broker mortgage services division from the ground up, and we need a sales hunter with entrepreneurial fire to help us win. This isn't a hand-holding role—you'll be given a territory, quota, and the tools to succeed, then it's up to you to make it happen.     Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the broker mortgage segment
    • Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities with mortgage brokers/brokerages, broker networks, and aggregators across your region
    • Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities using HubSpot CRM
    • Keep HubSpot CRM up to date at all times
    • Conduct regular face-to-face and virtual meetings with qualified prospects
    • Own your results—celebrate wins, learn from losses, and constantly raise your own bar
    • Relationship Management
    • Network relentlessly at industry events, broker meetings, conferences, and anywhere brokers gather
    • Connect with Lenders and arrange to onboard any missing Lenders
    • Connect authentically at all levels—from brokerage executives and principals to individual brokers and operations managers
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across broker organizations
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic broker accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and retention
    • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess performance, identify growth opportunities, and address concerns
    • Build champions within broker organizations/brokerages
    • Keep your finger on the pulse of the mortgage broker market—understand trends and competitive dynamics
    • Provide market feedback to product and technology teams to inform platform enhancements
    • Share competitive intelligence with leadership to shape strategy
    • Stay informed on regulatory developments and how they impact broker operations
    • Stay informed on lender strategies for Broker business
    • Learn from every interaction—what objections come up, what messaging resonates, what closes deals
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with operations to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery for new broker clients
    • Work with tech and product teams to facilitate platform integrations
    • Represent the voice of the broker customer internally—advocate for what they need to succeed
    • Provide sales forecasting and performance reporting to leadership

    Experience / Knowledge & Skills

    • 3-5+ years of business development or sales experience in mortgage services, with a specific focus on the broker channel
    • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
    • Deep understanding of mortgage broker and brokerage operations, workflows, and pain points
    • Experience working with valuation services providers, lenders, or mortgage technology vendors
    • Demonstrated success managing sales cycles
    • Comprehensive knowledge of residential mortgage lending processes and appraisal requirements
    • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze performance
    • Proficiency with HubSpot CRM platform and sales analytics tools is a plus
    • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Existing network of relationships within the mortgage broker community that you can activate immediately
    • Experience selling appraisal management, valuation services, AVMs, or mortgage technology solutions
    • Knowledge of appraisal products (traditional, hybrid, desktop, AVM) and how they fit broker needs
    • Understanding of lender requirements and residential mortgage lending processes
    • Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, or related field
