PURPOSE-LED WORK YOU'LL BE PART OF


In this game changing role, you will be the horsepower behind our sustainability initiative wheel, you will be supporting our internal and external sustainability communications, be the social media guru/ composer, dive deep into the world of assessing MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Experiences and you will be supporting projects focused on decarbonization, climate risk, net zero, and our MAKE TRAVEL MATTER strategy.

This position is focused on assessing and assuring sustainability data in support of group KPI's as well as to support the communication of these efforts both within our organization and our clients.


HOW YOU'LL WORK

  • You will be Supporting the TreadRight Team to promote and raise awareness of The Travel Corporation's efforts through its sustainability strategy, How We Tread Right (HWTR), including philanthropic activities, at all levels of the organization.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and tracking of employee training programs in environmental issues and responsibilities.
  • Assist the team in ensuring regional environmental reporting, monitoring for accuracy and suitability.
  • Support the development of annual public impact reports.
  • Track and Analyze data to ensure accuracy and completion.
  • Support the maintenance of TTC's environmental reporting tool Accuvio (Diligent) including quality control on reporting across 90 facilities.
  • Support the MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Experiences assessment and reporting tool.
  • Support in the management and maintenance of digital assets, project management programs, and social media publishing platforms

RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • At least 2+ years' experience working in a sustainability environment.
  • Keen interest and familiarity with corporate responsibility & sustainable tourism
  • Strong planning and communication skills
  • Strong project management skills including multitasking, prioritization, and time management.
  • Ability to take direction from multiple team members and coordinate across related tasks.
  • Proven abilities to analyze large sets of cross data to identify trends and improve environmental performance.
