RFIC Design Co-op

Skyworks Solutions is seeking a University student for an RFIC design position for its Diversified Analog Solutions business unit at its location in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

This is a 1-year position which starts in September 2024 and runs until the end of August
Responsibilities:

Lab testing and characterization of highly integrated Wi-Fi Front end modules
Contributing to the research and development of advanced analog and RF integrated circuits for wireless (Wi-Fi) technology
Assist in new product engineering and design activities.
Communicate with employees at all levels in the organization and be able to demonstrate excellent problem solving, data analysis, and critical thinking skills.

Job Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a BS, MS, or Ph.

D. academic program in Canada (Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Physics, or related)

Knowledge of electronic circuits and principles.
An interest and aptitude in the art of RF/microwave and analog circuit design and measurement.
An interest and aptitude in semiconductor device physics and integrated circuit design.
Desirable knowledge/experience includes familiarity with ADS, Cadence, SPICE, or similar design tools.
Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel and Word) and have an aptitude for quickly learning other companyspecific software.
Self starter with a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills.
Good communication, organization, and documentation skills.
