Description
As a Quality Technician you will contribute to ensure adherence of incoming and outbound products to the company's quality requirements.
Reporting to the Manager of Hardware Quality, and supporting the Production Operations Manager, you will inspect, triage and report spare parts and products according to quality requirements.
Perform Quality Control Inspections:
Conduct regular inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
Testing and Analysis:
Utilize various testing equipment, tools, and techniques to perform quality checks, measurements, and analysis of products or processes, and document results accurately.
Document and Report:
Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and audits, documenting any non-conformities or deviations found. Prepare comprehensive reports and communicate findings to the relevant stakeholders
Quality Assurance:
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance procedures, processes, and standards to ensure consistent quality across all areas of the organization.
Quality Documentation:
Assist in the development and maintenance of quality documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality manuals.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a Quality Technician or in a similar quality control role.
Strong knowledge of quality control principles, techniques, and tools.
Proficiency in using measurement equipment, such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
Knowledge of interpreting technical specifications, including design drawings.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Sheet suite
