Human Resources Coordinator to the Scandi Family
This is a 100% permanently remote position.

What your day to day will look like:

Reporting into the HR Generalist Lead. This role is 50% recruitment and 50% human resources

Recruitment: Assisting the Recruitment Lead on a daily basis with a variety of tasks including; creating documents, screening resumes, phone interviews, coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks, updating ATS, and assisting with any ad hoc projects as required.

New Employee Orientation and Onboarding: Scheduling and coordinating onboarding for all new employees ensuring a warm welcome. Setting up and updating all employee documentation in systems and working with team leads to set up IT and Payroll.

Administration: Maintaining up to date and accurate employee files at all times, drafting letters and company communications, entering in data to various trackers, filing all letters and documentations.

Inquiries: Acting as first point of contact for HR inquiries for Scandi family. Providing information on policies and procedures with the support of the HR team.

  • Assisting the team with any ad hoc projects as required.

What you'll need to succeed:


  • Must have minimum 2 years experience in a similar position in the HR field
  • Must have completed post secondary education in Human Resources Management and knowledge of HR best practices
  • Must have experience with ATS and HRIS systems
  • High level of accuracy and proofreading skills
  • Initiative to find answers and get things done
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Fantastic communication skills with the ability to handle competing priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Adaptable in an ever changing environment with the ability to handle ambiguity
  • Team player able to build positive working relationships and step up and pitch in where needed
