Service Dispatcher-Calgary, AB

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Service Coordinator is vital to our everyday operations and they take full ownership for the service cycle.

This role is a permanent, full time position.

Responsibilities:

Answers incoming service calls
Schedule service and warranty calls with the customer
Opens and confirm work orders including material and equipment sourcing completed by field technicians
Confirm credit and client information from the customer prior to dispatching employees
Distributes required paperwork to our technicians, parts department and warehouse personnel
Dispatches and communicates with our technicians for the required information relevant to the job prior to or during the service call cycle
Other duties, as assigned

Skills:

Customer service savvy and above average communication proficiency
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage stress and diffuse difficult situations
Well organized with great attention to detail
Superior resourcefulness, integrity, and solid work ethic
Ability to work in a team environment
Knowledge in shipping, logistics, is an asset

Qualifications:

Experience scheduling and dispatching field service is an asset but not required
Willing to train and teach the right applicant with no experience
Working knowledge of MS Outlook (including calendar) and Excel
