Salary:
$60K to $90K depending on experience

Our mission is to inspire and empower the next generation of designers, makers and healthy and active citizens.

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the research, development and commercialization of a teacher assistant, collaborative robot.

Responsibilities include:

Lead commercialization efforts of a teacher assistant collaborative robot project
Software/hardware lead for project
Work with our Director
R&D on the product roadmap
Product demos in schools to better understand end users and use cases
Ensure regulatory aspects and compliance of product
Oversight of a team of junior engineers and coop students working on the project
Community engagement

Requirements:

years experience in a research and development environment working with robotics and software engineering

Experience with AI
Masters or Ph.

D. in engineering, robotics or computer science

Personable and excellent communicator, team player
Passionate about teaching children about STEM/STEAM and comfortable being evangelist for the robot and project
Experience within the education sector desirable
