Aecon Aggregates Ottawa, ON is looking for a Quarry Field Supervisor to join our safety conscious team You will be responsible for directing and supervising the daily activities of all quarry personnel in the field and ensuring materials and equipment are organized to meet production requirements.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure that health and safety is the number one priority.
  • Supervise employees and equipment.
  • Assures employees are trained and equipped.
  • Maintains constant communication with Operations Manager.
  • Ensures equipment is in compliance with preventative maintenance program.
  • Knowledge of quarry crushers and related equipment: rock trucks, loaders, skid steers, manlifts, jaw and cone crushers, screening plants and wash plants.
To be successful in this role you will meet the following criteria:5 years experience in quarry operations preferred. Must be well versed in construction site rules, protocols and code of conduct. Strong management, planning, and leadership skills.

Responsible for safety meetings and reports.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal


Salary:
$30.00-$35.00 per hour
