    Position Information Job Title Accounts Receivable Clerk Appointment Type Full-time Temporary (Maternity Leave) Position Dates Jun 2024-May 2025 Hours per week/FTE 35 About the Position Lethbridge College is looking for a self-motivated individual to join their Accounting Services staff on a temporary basis to cover for a maternity leave.

    Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, this frontline position's primary focus is to receive and process all in-coming payments from students, staff and the general public. Position Details
  • Answering inquiries from internal and external customers
  • Verifying department receipts and entry into accounting system
  • Filing, processing of in-coming and out-going mail and telephone-answering service for the Accounts Receivable department is an integral part of the job.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Business related post-secondary education, plus two years' experience in a related field; a combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Accuracy, good organizational skills, meeting deadlines and problem solving skills are important to this position
  • Computer experience in an integrated ERP, combined with a strong working knowledge of MS Office suites is highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service background
  • Ability to work well under time-constraints and stressful situations in a fast paced, customer focused environment
