Moon-Matz Ltd. is looking for a Project and Proposal Coordinator to join our team.

If you graduated from a Civil Engineering program (technologist) or a technical writting degree (communications) and interested in learning the ins and out of a successful 45 year established, 40 person consulting engineering firm, this is the opportunity of a life time.

Main project coordination responsibilities include:

• Maintaining multi discipline consulting engineering project spreadsheet.
• Coordinate with inhouse engineers and subconsultants re: status of progress.
• Particiapate in all phases of design and construction projects range from $100K to $15mil.
• Prepare engineering documentation, i.e. reports, minutes, draws, payment, CSP, SI, CO, CCN, etc.
• Laison with Tier 1 Clients including City of Toronto, Mississauga, U of T, Brock, Infrastructure Ontario, Public Works, Department of Defence, School Boards, Region of Peel, etc.

Main proposal responsibilities include:

• Monitoring proposal opportunity platforms (Biddingo, Bids and Tenders, MERX)
• Review and filter proposal opportunities and requests
• Attend preliminary bid site meetings, and mediate questions between the client and relevant MML department
• Prepare promotional material, packaging, filing, and/or any relevant data entry
• Manage, track, and prepare the proposal and any addendums up to and including the submission process
• Follow up with clients to determine award status
• Maintain and update marketing/proposal database and resources
• Familiarity with RFQ, RFP, RFI, EOI and bidding processes is an asset.

We are looking for an energetic and hardworking team player who is interested in engineering and business. Must be proficient with Microsoft products (Office, Project, etc), AutoCAD (an asset), client relations, etc.

We are looking for someone who is keen on learning invaluable business development and project coordination / management experience in a fast-paced consulting engineering firm.

Valid driver's license and automobile an asset.

Moon-Matz Ltd. is a multidisciplinary engineering firm located at 2902 South Sheridan Way, Oakville, Ontario. Initial training may take place at Sr. Partners residence located at King St. and Strachan Ave, downtown Toronto or at head office in Oakville as preferred.

Part-time hours: 24-40 per week


Salary:
$50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
