Description
Responsible for tasks that include installation and troubleshooting washers, dryers, ranges and other large appliances. Connecting water or gas lines, and checking for leaks once the appliances are installed. Repairing or replacing any defective components found in appliances. Dismantling and reassembling appliances to make the correct diagnosis


Job Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Repair major electrical or gas appliances, such as domestic and commercial dishwashing equipment, stoves, laundry equipment and refrigerators in the repair shop
  • Ensuring to log everything that has been fixed
  • Refer to work order to establish the nature of the appliance malfunction as well as taking the time to run the machines to find out what the problem may be.

Salary:
$18.00-$25.00 per hour

  • Dartmouth, NS B2X1A8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

Appliance Repair: 2 years (required)
