Hillebrand offers a full range of freight forwarding services to the beverage community: ocean freight, air freight, intermodal, domestic trucking, and customs house brokerage, in addition to a number of special value-added services.


Job Objective:


The Logistics Coordinator will be a part of our global logistics operations team, ensuring all our customer orders are efficiently and effectively delivered through commercially viable solutions.

The Logistics Coordinator will arrange logistics for a wide variety of import and export orders, in partnership with service providers and vendors.

Hours are 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday to Friday.


Responsibilities:

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

  • Order Processing: Receive documents and initiate logging process, confirm data received is in compliance with all requirements, process all documents in accordance with requirements, coordinate cargo availability and arrange pickup and delivery, and finalize billing and distribute documents as required.
  • Shipment Status reporting: Review daily monitoring reports, ensure all measurements standards are met, and proactively report nonconformities.
  • Prepare/review manifest and/or Bills of Lading.
  • Coordinate the inbound/ outbound movement of trucking shipments.
  • Meet expected KPI's while proactively documenting proper dates and times in our transportation management system.

Qualifications:


  • 35+ years of Import/Export experience
  • 1+ years of Customer Service experience
  • Prior experience working in Canada operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of E-Manifest system preferred
